I remember the feeling of being so excited in newly being trained in EMDR and then losing confidence and having confusion around how to do this with kids!

You might have tried a session and then quickly stopped, due to not remembering a piece of the information or being unsure if you were "doing it right".

My goal is for this training to help therapists quickly gain the skills necessary to start using EMDR Therapy with kids.

This training will support you in learning how to begin to use EMDR with children, teach you ways to modify the standard protocol to use with children, recognize special areas of considerations, tips for stuck points, explore therapy modalities to integrate with your EMDR work and identify ways to boost your confidence in using EMDR Therapy with kids. You need to have completed the EMDR basic training in order to take this course.

This training is specifically set up to be simple, provide you with the most concise and important information needed in a way that is easy to learn. You will not encounter long videos or tedious material. This training is meant to get you started with confidence to use EMDR Therapy with kiddos without needing to do tons of extra work.

I am an Approved Consultant through EMDRIA and a facilitator at EMDR Part 1 and 2 trainings (through HAP, EMDR Professional Training and EMDR Training Solutions). In my work with children, I integrate Play Therapy along with EMDR Therapy. I also work with adults struggling with trauma and anxiety and utilize EMDR Therapy in the majority of my work.
