Holly offers video and telephone consultations for therapists trained in EMDR therapy.
Holly offers video and telephone consultations for therapists, including therapists trained in EMDR therapy. She is a certified EMDRIA therapist, an EMDRIA Approved Consultant and an EMDRIA approved trainer for the EMDR Basic Trainings. She can provide the required 10 hours of consultation for individuals during the training process (per organization approval).
Holly additionally offers consultation for those becoming certified in EMDR or working on becoming an Approved Consultant.
Holly requires ten consults (including a minimum of 5 individual) before considering writing a letter of recommendation for certification.

She integrates Ego State Therapy (eg Parts Work), Hypnosis and Deep Brain Reorienting into the work she does. Holly offers multiple on-demandtrainings for EMDR therapists, including how to use the modality with children, a 7 houron-demand refresherand free 25 minute training on the Top 10 EMDR Mistakes. How do I become EMDRIA certified?
Beyond completing your EMDRIA Approved Basic Training, certification requires a full independent license with at least two years of experience, at least 50 EMDR sessions with 25 or more clients, 20 hours of consultation with an EMDRIA Approved Consultant, 12 hours of EMDRIA Credits, and letters of recommendation. I provide the consultation hours and the consultant letter, and my advanced trainings carry EMDRIA Credits that count toward the 12.
How many consultation hours do I need?
EMDRIA requires 20 hours of consultation with an Approved Consultant. At least 10 of those hours must be individual; the remaining 10 can be small group. I offer both individual and group consultation, and I ask for a minimum of ten consults with me (at least five individual) before considering writing your letter of recommendation.
What is the difference between EMDR trained and EMDRIA certified?
EMDR trained means you've completed an EMDRIA Approved Basic Training and can use EMDR with your clients. EMDRIA Certified Therapist is the next level, it shows you've gone beyond training, with at least 50 EMDR sessions, 20 consultation hours, continuing education, and professional recommendations behind you. Certification renews every two years.
