Notice That Part: An Intro to Parts Work Across the 8 Phases of EMDR Therapy

EARLY BIRD RATE AVAILABLE UNTIL AUGUST 11, 2026 - $150$125

Date: Friday, September 11th at 9am to 1:30pm PACIFIC TIME.

About the training

This 4-hour EMDRIA approved training (presented by Holly Forman-Patel and Amy Ikerd) introduces EMDR clinicians to a practical, parts-informed approach that can be integrated across all eight phases of EMDR Therapy. Participants will explore the core concepts of Ego State Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and the Theory of Structural Dissociation while learning a flexible "parts of self" framework that can be applied regardless of theoretical orientation.

Clinicians will discover how parts-informed interventions can strengthen case conceptualization, preparation, assessment, reprocessing, and closure. Special attention will be given to situations in which EMDR processing becomes stuck due to internal conflict, protector parts, dissociation, looping, blocking beliefs, or abreaction. Participants will learn practical strategies to identify and work with these barriers, including parts-informed interweaves and interventions designed to restore movement in reprocessing.

Through clinical examples and practical applications, attendees will leave with tools they can immediately begin using to enhance client safety, engagement, and successful reprocessing throughout the EMDR therapy process.
